The demo I played also had a particular treat in the form of Super Truck mode, a level combining Clustertruck and Superhot that started out as an April Fool’s joke, but has now become a full-on part of the game, which is particularly cool. That said, it does fall victim to the occasional bout of iffiness that comes with first-person platforming, where you have some difficulty judging where you may land. It all controls quite well, and constantly rewards quick timing and preparedness. Does it make for in absolute mess of twisted metal crashing all around you, getting in your way and making for trickier jumps? Naturally, but it never really feels unfair. In cases like those, you run the risk of gameplay being sacrificed in the favor of overly-goofy gimmicks, random elements and stuff that generally feels a bit buggy.
